Sunshine Hospital Imaging

NCS was engaged to undertake a feasibility study for the Imaging Department at Sunshine Hospital, assessing opportunities to expand diagnostic imaging capabilities and support future clinical demand within the operational healthcare facility.

The study evaluated the feasibility of installing a new PET-CT unit, as well as the potential future addition of an MRI unit within the existing imaging department. Working within a live hospital environment, NCS assessed spatial requirements, operational impacts, infrastructure constraints, and service integration considerations to determine viable delivery options. The feasibility outcomes provided Western Health with a strategic foundation for future planning, investment decisions, and the enhancement of diagnostic services across the hospital.
