Eastern Health Nurse Call Replacement

The works included the staged replacement of headend equipment, nurse call and emergency buttons, patient handsets and pendants, annunciator panels, staff station consoles, associated cabling and power supplies, alongside integration with the facility messaging system. To maintain continuity of hospital operations, the new system was implemented alongside the existing infrastructure, minimising disruption to patients, visitors, and clinical staff throughout the transition. 

The completed upgrade enhanced communication between patients and care teams, improved emergency alert functionality, and strengthened system reliability across both hospitals. By delivering a more responsive and adaptable nurse call system, the project supports timely clinical intervention, safer patient care, and the long-term operational resilience of Eastern Health’s healthcare facilities.
