Japara Goonawarra & Roccoco Refurbishment

Goonawarra and Roccoco were among the 11 sites delivered by NCS under Japara Healthcare’s Phase 1 Significant Refurbishment Program. Delivered as a paired cluster, these facilities underwent strategic improvements including room and bathroom upgrades, enhanced common areas, and landscaping works—all delivered with careful attention to staging and the sensitive needs of residents.

This project focused on the refurbishment of two facilities: Goonawarra and Roccoco. Works included resident room and bathroom upgrades, enhancements to communal areas, and landscaping improvements. The project was delivered in active care environments, necessitating careful coordination to minimise impact on residents and staff.

Refurbished spaces delivered a more comfortable and functional environment for residents, supporting dignity and independence. Enhanced facilities enabled improved care services while ensuring minimal disruption throughout construction in live settings.
