Japara Capel Sands Refurbishment

NCS delivered four projects under Japara’s Significant Refurbishment Program – Phase 2. Capel Sands Aged Care in Capel Sound formed a key part of this cluster, where works focused on uplifting internal spaces and amenities to enhance day-to-day life for residents and staff in this beachside community setting.

Refurbishment works at Capel Sands aged care facility included extensive upgrades to kitchens, common areas, main entrances, landscaping, and carpark facilities. The project was carefully staged to minimise disruption within the live operational environment, incorporating design solutions sensitive to the needs of high-care and dementia residents. Bushfire risk mitigation was a critical consideration given the rural location.
