Clyde Creek Primary Specialist Campus

Completed in 2023 with a $14 million budget, this project delivered a purpose-built Specialist Campus located at 40 Eliston Avenue, Clyde North. Designed specifically to support students with mild, moderate, or severe intellectual disabilities—and some with physical disabilities—the new campus provides tailored educational facilities to meet diverse learning needs.

The development includes a Community Hub, Learning Centre, and Administration/Library Building, all designed to foster a supportive and accessible learning environment. Specialist play equipment, such as junior and senior play units, colourful musical instruments, and interactive voice tubes, were incorporated to promote social skills, communication, and cooperative play, enriching the student experience and supporting holistic development.

By creating a safe, engaging, and fully accessible environment, the campus supports student growth, independence, and social interaction. The dedicated play and learning spaces encourage development of essential life skills while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. This project underscores the commitment to equity in education, providing tailored opportunities for vulnerable students to thrive and empowering staff with the facilities needed to deliver specialised support. The campus serves as a beacon of inclusive education and community connection in the Clyde North area.
